James moved to Oahu in 2006 from his hometown in Louisville, KY. By God’s merciful and sovereign grace, James was awakened to a sobering sense of his sin and the beauty and worth of Christ in the Spring of 2010. From that point, he began to put to death the sins and evil inclinations of his heart. He has continued in a trajectory of knowing, loving, and treasuring Christ above all things. James is currently a pastor at Kailua Baptist Church and also the Chaplain and Middle/High School Bible teacher at Trinity Christian School in Kailua.
James is married to his lovely wife Latesha. Together they have two children - Jude and Laurel.
Jame sholds a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been involved in a variety of ministry roles, including the Baptist Collegiate Ministries at UH Manoa, pastoral internships, and leading in things like worship through song, teaching, preaching, and prayer.
Jeff grew up on the Windward side in Kaneohe. He is married to Mary, and they have two boys: Andrew (6),and Daniel (2). His first experience of realizing he needed forgiveness for his sins was as a child at a youth camp. However, it wasn't until college that he truly embraced his faith and began walking with Jesus.
In his free time, Jeff loves to go fishing and spend time with his family. His favorite food is sushi.
Brent Young is a member of University Avenue Baptist Church and a graduate of Gateway Seminary. Brent has a passion for sharing the gospel and is excited to see young people put their faith in Christ and follow Him. Brent has served as part of our camp team for many years by coordinating our annual outreach project. This outreach equips youth to share the message of Christ's forgiveness with the lost and gives them opportunities to put their faith in action.

She also led preschool and children's ministry at Hawai'i Kai Church from 2009-2012. Dani Beth is passionate about multi-generational discipleship. She leads the children, preteen, student, family, & multi-generational ministries at UABC. Dani Beth thinks Gen Z is the most creative, funny, and thoughtful generation.
